Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Grainform at grainform.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. For support or questions, contact hello@grainform.app.

The service

Grainform turns images, SVGs, type and supported 3D models into editable grain scenes in your browser. You can interact with a scene, save projects and export supported formats. Editing, account project storage and PNG previews are free within the service's technical and usage limits. Features that require a paid license are identified before export. Production checkout is not yet available; displaying a plan does not create a charge or subscription.

Your account

Use accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission and legal capacity to use this service. You are responsible for activity through your account. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed it without permission. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service's security.

Your creations

You retain your rights to the content you import and the original work you create. You give Grainform permission to process and store your content only as needed to provide the features you choose. You must have permission to use the source images, logos, fonts and other assets. Grainform does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or copyrighted content. Examples are demonstrations and do not imply endorsement.

You may use exports in personal or commercial work when you hold the necessary rights to the source content and a valid license for any paid export feature. You may embed exported components in your own work and client projects. You may not resell or distribute Grainform itself, share a license key publicly, or use the service to create a competing redistribution of our software.

Plans and licenses

Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes and the final charge are shown at checkout. A browser activation is an installation, not a separate user account or team seat. Export access requires an active license validated by the licensing provider. Browser storage is used to keep your key and activation identifier. Contact support if an installation must be released.

A lifetime license has no recurring fee and permits the included features while Grainform continues to operate. It does not guarantee that the hosted service will operate forever, or include future separately priced products. You keep already exported files, subject to your rights in the source content.

Payments and cancellation

When checkout becomes available, it will be hosted by Lemon Squeezy, our intended merchant of record. Its buyer terms govern the payment transaction. Grainform does not collect card details. A purchase is complete only when the provider confirms it and issues a valid license.

Pro renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel future renewals through the billing link in your purchase receipt or Lemon Squeezy customer portal, or contact support. Cancellation normally leaves access available through the paid period. One-time passes do not renew. Any later price changes will be disclosed before they apply.

Refunds

If Grainform is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of a purchase or renewal to request a refund. Include the order email and receipt identifier, not your card details. Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider and revoke access for the refunded license or period. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or the payment provider's obligations.

Acceptable use

Do not infringe another person's rights, upload malicious files, attempt to access someone else's projects, bypass export licensing, or disrupt the service. Do not use Grainform for unlawful content or activity. We may limit excessive usage or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service and other users.

Availability and responsibility

Keep copies of important source files and exports. Grainform relies on your browser, device and service providers; interruptions and technical limits can occur. We do not promise that every file, browser, export format or resolution will work on every device. We will describe material limitations where relevant.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by content you do not have permission to use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using Grainform and delete projects through your workspace. Contact support to request account deletion. We may update these terms and will publish the revised version with its effective date. Material changes to paid plans will be communicated before they affect an existing purchase. If we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States, subject to any mandatory protections in your place of residence. Contact Grainform at hello@grainform.app to resolve questions or concerns.
